Overview
Luxor is a city in southern Egypt on the east bank of the Nile River. It located on the site of ancient Thebes, which served as the pharaohs’ capital between the 16th–11th century B.C. On the river’s west bank lie the royal tombs of the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens. And we’ll start the day by visiting the Valley of the Kings, after by the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Memnon Colossi.
Itinerary:
Your Tour Guide will meet you at the Luxor Train Station, Airport, Hotel, or Nile Cruise, First, your personal driver and guide will take you to see the Colossi of Memnon, which are two colossal statues of King Amenhotep III seated and with his hands resting on his knees facing East towards the Nile River, and the temple of El Deir El Bahri (Queen Hatshepsut’s Mortuary Temple), which is cut into the mountain and was built by the Queen who was the Pharaoh in Egypt 150 centuries ago it was used as her mortuary temple and the inspiration for the design was taken from another neighboring mortuary temple of Neb-Hept-Re of the twelfth Dynasty.
