Your Tour Guide will meet you at the Train Station, Airport, Hotel, Be driven to Alexandria for around 3
hours (approx. 250 kilometers).There is a rest stop in the middle of the way.
The magnificent Montaza Palace grounds/gardens will be your first stop. The tour lasts 30
minutes.
With no entrance fee, we went to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (Library of Alexandria) and then
to the Citadel of Qaitbay (or the Fort of Qaitbay). The tour lasts 90 minutes and starts with a
visit to the historical archaeological site of Kom El Shoqafa’s Catacombs.
Then it’s off to Pompey’s Pillar (column). It takes 30 minutes to complete the tour.
We’re going to an Egyptian restaurants in the region. Lunch will take 60 minutes before
returning to your hotel.
