Our Egyptologist tour guide will provide you with a short brief about your Ancient Egypt tour program along the way to the hotel. Arrive at your hotel to check in and have an overnight.

Overnight: a Cairo hotel

After having breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, meet our Egyptologist tour guide who will accompany you to Giza Plateau where you can visit the Seventh Wonder of the Ancient World, the Great Pyramids of Giza, the great pyramid of Khufu (Cheops), along with the smaller pyramids of Khafre (Chephren) and Menkaure (Micerinus). In Giza necropolis, you will pay a visit to the famous Sphinx and Valley Temple as well. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant. After lunch-time, you will be transferred to enjoy a tour among the Pharaonic masterpieces inside the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities which is considered as one of the most famous and ancient museums in the whole world. Then you get transferred back to your hotel to have an overnight in Cairo.

After Breakfast, you will leave your luggage in the reception until we get back from our adventure night. Our land cruiser 4×4 will take us on an adventure in the Western Desert of Egypt. On the way we will stop four times. First, you will visit Al-Marsus Mountain, move to the Black Mountain, to climb its top to see an interesting view from above.  Second stop will be to see the amazing sand dunes, in addition to visiting the Agabat El Sharkia, El Santa Tree of the White Desert, then we go across the sands of the White Desert marked with its chalky, cream landscape, and the wind carved mushroom-shaped formations that resemble both human and animal faces. Watch the sunset over the exquisite sands of the desert, and dine under the stars then have an overnight in camps.

After a magical night under the pure desert sky but often cold night in the White Desert, take a morning drive by 4×4 to the hot springs of Bir Sitta. Then move to Farafra (also called the Land of the Cow) to enjoy lunch in the mud bricks architecture that the settlements of the oasis. From Farafra Oasis, the second largest depression by size located in the Western Desert of Egypt, we drive south towards Dakhla Oasis (inner oasis). In this huge green farming oasis, we will visit the old Islamic town of El Qasr built in the 12^th century on the remains of Roman era settlement by the Ayyubid kings of Egypt. Have an overnight at El Dakhla Oasis.

After breakfast, we will visit the unique “upside down” Mastabas. Then leave Dakhla to drive to Kharga Oasis to enjoy the day from the morning until afternoon with enough time to start trekking to our camp site (about 20 km trekking) to watch the Sunset. Visit Al-Bagawat Christian cemetery (Gabbanat el-Bagawat) at Kharga Oasis. Pay a visit to the Hibis Temple which considered being one of the greatest restoration projects performed by the SCA. You will also have tour in the temple ruins of Deir al-Kashef before you have an overnight camping at Kharga Desert.

Visit the old market area of Kharga Oasis (outer oasis). The market is mainly serving the local population, but as visitor you will be able to see the real desert market for the first time. Shop among items like hand-woven baskets that are good items to have back from the journey, and your “souvenir” will be a small contribution to the local industry as well. Then transfer to Luxor by an air-conditioned vehicle for around 6 hours drive to arrive and have an overnight in Luxor.

From your hotel in Luxor, start your day tour visiting Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Lunch will be served in a deluxe local restaurant. Transfer to your hotel to have an overnight in Luxor.

Breakfast at your hotel, start your visit in the west bank where you visit the Valley of Kings and Temple of Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon. In the end of the day, transfer to Luxor Railway Station to catch your sleeping train to Cairo, dinner will be served aboard, and have an overnight on board the train.

Breakfast aboard then arrive to meet your representative at Giza Railway Station. Get transferred by a private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. Check in hotel and get a free day (optional tour Islamic and Coptic Cairo). Have an overnight in Cairo.
