The project will be implemented in three phases:
*The first level
The implementation of the first phase began in May 2008 by rehabilitating and preparing the project site, in which the site was evacuated from all occupancies, building walls for determining the property with a length of about 3 km, paving internal roads, facilitating a safe site for the transfer of the Ramses statue, making gates, security systems and lighting the entire site, and preparing the lifting. – The third security zone, which is the area of the archaeological stores, was designed according to the latest techniques of preservation and insurance, divided according to the type of antiquity, and is waiting to be transferred to the permanent exhibition halls in the main building through an underground tunnel that connects directly between the stores and the galleries under strict security conditions, and the center also includes a unit Electronic security and control. All construction and construction works and the installation of large and specialized equipment for the restoration of antiquities have been completed, and the engineering systems used such as winches installed in the roofs of the factories, X-ray equipment, etc., the process of transferring small and medium-sized archaeological groups has begun with the expertise of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, and securing their transfer in cooperation with the Ministry The interior from “Giza”, “Saqqara”, “Mansouriya” and “Tal Basta” to the museum stores.
